Creative Director AKA Photographer
Mersie, the Creative Director and lead photographer at JEM STUDIOS, has been passionate about photography since a young age. With over five years of experience in newborn photography, she has honed her skills in capturing the delicate and fleeting moments that parents treasure forever.
Her keen eye for detail and creative vision allow her to create stunning, timeless photographs that tell a unique story for each family. Mersie’s approach to photography is rooted in patience, care, and a deep understanding of the emotional significance of each shot.

Annie also have a great understanding on handling and soothing newborns during the session. She’s calm, gentle, and always focused on keeping the baby safe and comfortable while the photographer captures each special moment. Her friendly, relaxed energy helps families feel at ease throughout the shoot.
From the first setup to packing up at the end, Annie is there to help create a beautiful, stress-free experience for every family.

Lucy is a energetic, thoughtful photographer assistant at JEM STUDIOS who helps keep each photo session running smoothly from start to finish. She’s involved in every step—getting props ready, setting up the space and arranging backdrops. Making sure everything is perfectly throughout the session.
Lucy focuses on creating a safe, tidy, and matchy setup. She has a great eye for detail during the session. Make sure things flowing naturally so every shot comes out just right. She is also patient when helping to calm newborns, always making sure they feel settled and comfortable.
Lucy enjoys being part of the behind-the-scenes process—making sure everything is prepared and making sure the flow smoothly. Her calm, attentive approach helps bring out the best in every photo.

Suan is the Photographer Assistant and Nanny at JEM STUDIOS, playing a vital role in ensuring every shoot runs smoothly and comfortably. With a natural affinity for working with baby & kids, Suan provides invaluable support to the team by helping with setup, organizing props, and assisting during sessions, all while keeping the little ones engaged and comfortable.
Her warm and nurturing personality makes her an essential part of the team, especially when it comes to working with newborns and kids. Suan’s attentive care and support ensure that each session is a pleasant experience for both parents and children, allowing the photographer to focus on capturing those precious moments.
With a strong passion for childcare and photography, Suan brings a unique blend of skills to JEM STUDIOS, making her an indispensable member of the team.
JEM STUDIOS was founded in 2020. Inspired by the name "JEM," our logo symbolizes our mission to capture each client’s precious moments and carefully preserve them in a "JEM jar," with love and dedication.
At JEM STUDIOS, we specialize in newborn photography, offering over 100 unique and original themes, all meticulously decorated and photographed by our creative team. In addition to newborn photography, we provide a range of photography services, including graduation, maternity, family, baby, and toddler photography.
